I dont know if it possible to change the address.
Maybe it can be change over the PCI-bus of the used motherboard.
But i never test those things.
For flicker free animations, i use the hardware triple buffering
of my Geforce4-card. But it is only for the [big-/un-]realmode
and only for vbe3-cards. My newer ATI9800pro only provide vbe2.
The vesa protect-mode interface i never used.
