Thankyou for the very helpful reply.
It appears that you are linking with the masm32 user32 and kernel32
libraries. Is this understanding correct?
The example doesnt assemble for me and I get an error about
MessageBox/MessageBoxA@16 not
being defined. Is there an include missing (it doesnt look like it as
you have done a .extern _MessageBoxA@16) ?
Would it be possible to communicate with you via email about using GAS
to assemble programs as I want to
do a quick Proof Of Concept and dont have a great deal of time to get
GAS working (I have used MASM and GoASM in the
past). If this is possible please send me an email to j l a d d @ i
i n e t . n e t . a u but without any spaces.
