Hello,
...I need to know some details about exceptions
connected with segmentation and memory
addressing, but I'm only interested in situations when
paging is disabled.
You should visit the Intel literature. They pseudo-logic showing the exact
checks that are performed during a MOV operation, for example, which will
signal every type of exception possible.
Those documents are located here:
http://www.intel.com/products/processor/manuals/index.htm
Older documents are probably better for you because they contain less fluff.
You might be able to find them online from some source other than Intel by
doing a search for "IA-32 Architecture Software Developer Manual" and
looking for non-Intel sites and manuals dating back to the Pentium 4, or
even Pentium III.
Hope this helps.
