Bwahaaaahahaa! Did you learn *anything* about math in school?

Ok, let's play a simple game:

EXAMPLE #1: Divide 7 by 4
Let's assume these are seven apples: O O O O O O O
Now I take away four apples. O O O x x x x
Again, I take away four apples. O O O ? Oops, that won't work!!!
How many apples are left now? O O O

I did already count for you: it's three. Surprise, surprise.

EXAMPLE #2: Divide 1 by 10
One apple: O
Now I take away ten apples. O ? Oops, that won't work!!!
How many apples are left now? O

One apple left. Still surprised? OK, let's move on to

EXAMPLE #3: Divide 5 by 2
Five apples: O O O O O
Now I take away two apples. O O O x x
And again. O x x
And again. O ? Oops, that won't work!!!
How many apples are left now? O

Good golly, one apple left!

Got it now? I've learned to do integer division when I was six years
of age. How about you?

Regards

Irrwahn, remember:
When you got two apples in a basket
and you take out five apples
you have to put back three apples to empty the basket.
