[OT] news group reference

    Sorry for the OT post. I am reinstalling EVERYTHING (don't even ask).
    The generic programming newsgroup (not language specific; algorithms,
    etc.) is not showing up in my newsreader subscription list and I can't
    remember the exact name. Can some kind soul please provide a link?
