At the risk of going off-topic and as someone new to programming, should I
start with C# rather than C++? Is the difference between C# and C++
comparable to the difference between C and C++? Is C# the way the industry
is going? Also, where is Java in relation to C++ these days? It was
supposed to take over the world at one point. I guess the bottom line is:
if one is to choose a language to devote time and energy to, is C++ still
the best choice for learning the fundamentals?
