The above notion of Original Sin, is one of the reasons Christianity
has lost so many people. I don't buy it myself.

If only that were true, it would be a good first step.

The problem is, that many modern Christians ignore just about everything
that Jesus taught, and take refuge in the morbid morass of the Old
Testament, even though Jesus said that the Old Law was no more.

I pay careful attention to the teachings of Jesus, and avoid Christianity
like the plague. Sensible people never confuse the two.
