Here's a more leanient view, which may serve to enlighten you a bit:

When someone is continuously being hunted down, killed, ostracized,
maimed, chased or otherwise continuously pushed aside or made a scape
goat for whatever reason, that very someone, eventually will turn smart
enough to think about establishing viable methods for one's defense.

Well, that someone's defense has grown to the point where you will be
_very_ lucky if that someone doesn't *** you upside down if you make
any further attempts to push them aside.

That about sums it up. Hoping for the things you mention, is like
kicking against a wall full of nails.

Life is tough. Those that make it through, rule.
