[Meta] net nanny confused

I just today installed McAfee security.

It would be nice to be able to filter out the effing and blinding that
sometimes appears on the ng, unfortunately the program seems to be replacing
whole messages with asterisks, I think on the basis that they contain code
which isn't recognisable as English.

Anyone know a fix for this?
