GUI libraries for C (not C++)

Hi guys.

It's been a while since I've done programming in C. What I'm after is a
multi-platform library (X11 and MS Windows at a minimum) which is not
C++ that will let me program GUI apps. Something simple and straight
forward to work with; ideally, open source.

Any suggestions?
