How to ride a unicycle :-)
Why? What possible advantage does it confer?
No, when switching to C, a good C++ developer needs to learn all about
how to re-use code. That is the heart of C.
And for C++ how to drive a Formula 1 car.
C++ programmers don't drive; they derive.
Whoever cross-posted this was asking for trouble, whether they
realised it or not.
hmmm.... better add: lose your sense of humour, to the list of
attributes a C++ developer needs when switching to C I guess!
If you didn't find my reply amusing, you've already lost it. Read it
again, this time with your brain switched on.
Oh I see. Like laugh or I'll smash yer face in?
No, no, my dear chap, you don't *have* to see the joke. You seem to be
portraying the C++ programmer's tendency to /talk/ about things rather than
actually doing them. (That's a hint, after which you might want to have
another shot at understanding my original reply, although it's possibly
wearing a bit thin now.)
hmm.. I guess that is the kind of attitude you end up with, if you have
to code in C all the time.
No, I get to choose - and given the choice, I choose wisely. :-) <-- see? I
can do smileys too, if I want to.
