No, it's not only fun. Microsoft have done a lot of harm with their
proprietary, lock-in approach to software, and periodic excoriations are
useful "lest we forget". Of course, if they changed their ways, that would
be different, but how likely is that?

Nevertheless, my point stands. We are *not* interested in the OP's platform.
C is C, no matter where you are.
