Position Title: Oracle Developer Job ID: ESI-H-FX 1077 Permanent ?Woodstock, Ontario
Job Description: Our client is seeking an Oracle Developer to join their dynamic team in Woodstock, Ontario. As a key member, you will use your Oracle analysis, and development skills to work both individually and as part of a team. THIS IS A JUNIOR ROLE - only candidates with Oracle Application server/ Oracle Portal will be considered.
Key Skills:
?Oracle, PLSQL, SQLPlus, Able to write large applications in PL/SQL
?Commitment to the I/T life-cycle methodology including Quality Assurance, code promotion, operations procedures, and system documentation
?Oracle 9i/10g database and application server
?Oracle PORTAL experience
?One to three years of directly-related IT experience is required.
Nice to have:
?Insurance industry experience
?XML Programming Skills
?LINUX OS experience
Responsibilities:
?You will be a Team player and a self-motivated professional who takes ownership of work.
?Ideal candidates will be analytical thinkers and problem solvers with an ability to set priorities and develop objectives
?They will also have strong organizational skills and solid oral and written communication skills.
?Reporting to an Application Team Lead, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and unit testing applications that affect a web-based system used across North America
?The major focus on the position is on maintenance and enhancement of an in-house customer and bond processing System, including a complex billing system
