I beg to differ. Most people I know programme functionality not
hardware.
And I betcha the number of salaried embedded programmers still
outweighs wintelers.
I would agree. The thing is most embedded SW people tend to also have a background in hardware and don't hang around in SW groups because of the PC bias.
