What is wrong with Keith's news server, I don't receive any of his posts
(neither free.fr, nor aioe.org carry them). Is this some sort of agency
mantated embargo, as the name suggests ?
I don't think there's anything wrong with my news server (which is
"news-server.san.rr.com", provided by my ISP, Time Warner Cable's
Roadrunner service). At least some people are obviously seeing my
messages, and Google Groups shows four of my articls in this thread.

Perhaps someone or something has decided to block messages from
news-server.san.rr.com for some reason. Charlie, perhaps you could
check with the administrators of free.fr and aioe.org? If I'm being
blocked, it's always possible that somebody important is being blocked
too. 8-)}

It also seemed odd that I didn't show up on the latest "Stats for
comp.lang.c (last 7 days)" post, for Nov 3-10. I don't think I've
been *that* quiet.

I'll e-mail this to Charlie as well as posting here.

I've open an account with motzarella.org, and your last post does not show up there either.
As a matter of fact, your messages show up on a very irregular basis:
Since November 1st, 2007, I received:
on motzarella.org (a German news host):
4 messages dated nov 1st, 11 dated 11/4, 7 dated 11/5, 9 dated 11/9 and 5 dated 11/7.
on aieo.org (an Italian news host), retention is 10 days:
3 messages dated 11/2, 10 dated 11/3 and nothing more recent.
on free.fr (a French ISP, retention is much longer)
8 messages dated 11/1, 4 dated 11/2, 9 dated 11/3, and nothing since.

I have not investigated other posters and other news services, and I realize NNTP and Usenet are not 100% reliable, but I think this is way beyond normal news service regularity.
Has anyone else experienced similar irregularities ?

I finally made the effort to give up on Google Groups a couple of weeks ago after they introduced some new bugs (or rather reintroduced some old ones). With NNTP server news.enta.net in the UK I almost immediately noticed I wasn't seeing Keith's postings. Since then I've seen a total of 10 all posted on November 3rd (which was roughly when I moved). I'm not sure if they're coming through sporadically or just very slowly. I've not noticed any problems with other regulars.
