Hello Steve,
Further to my other post, it's a good idea when posting to newsgroups,
not to use your main email address, but instead generate a throwaway
one (such as one from hotmail), since some spammers trawl the lists
looking for addresses. Another option depending on the way you post
is to mangle your address so it can't be used directly. I get a
regular stream of spam myself, some of which originates from such
activities.
