Hi,
I have a character based order entry application that runs in a DOS based
multi-user environment (MSDOS GOLD) using XM and DIALOG (Character Mode).
There is a central order entry location with several distributed locations
that access shared indexed files via telephone lines. The distributed
users logon to the central server and remain active through out the day.
The customer wants to upgrade the system to resolve obsolete hardware
issues.
I currently have WB 4.0 and Dialog 2.5 and have run/animated the application
from within WB in a DOS window as a single non-networked user.
I would like to initially migrate the application to a network environment
with minimal change.
Once stable I would convert the application to windows.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
