Yeah - that was one where "any date problem is a Y2K problem" was one of
the arguments - I remember that. :)

I sympathize with your plight - however, if you shut that newsgroup
down, the 4 or so (your number) regular folks will have to find
somewhere else to do their flaming and conspiracy theorizing... I'd
personally say to leave it out there, and every so often post a message
directing serious date-related question issues to your other
aforementioned newsgroups.
