Hi,

I've read in the previous thread that Fujitsu compiler was suggested. I
assume that there's someone familiar with it.

I've got a problem with the Fujitsu COBOL version 3 for students that I
downloaded. I'm in the process of exploring the product {Programming
Staff – COBOL85} when I encountered a problem in the linking process,
WINLINK. The “exe” file can’t be created. It is indicated in the error
message that the “entry point was not defined”. Do you have any idea
why this occurred? I’m thinking that this is possibly due to the system
requirement. I installed the product under Windows 2000 whereas Window
95/98 NT 4.0 is the one required. In this case, an option is to
download Microsoft Compatibility software. I did but still got the same
problem. I’m aware that there’s no assurance that the product will work
even with the help of that said software. Do you think this has any
relevance with the problem I encountered?

Thanks
