We are using Workbench 3.1.8 and run into trouble with a very simple
example accessing an Oracle 9 database:
    1. we wrote a test program with embedded sql, preprocess it to Odbc
    2. we tried both Oracle Odbc driver from Oracle and from Microsoft
    3. we are getting always the same run time error "SqlState -91 invalid
number of variables" when we try to fetch a row of data in excess of
about 1 (one) kbyte, regardless of the number of columns in the result
    set.

We have tried everything we know of and we still suppose there should
be some hidden option we should set.
Documentation says nothing that could help us any more.

Does anybody knows what's going on?
    Thanx
    Pl.
