So, you can download the whole thing for free, but you can't give a
piece of it to someone else - they have to waste their bandwidth to
download the whole thing for free for themselves, just for the one piece
they need?

I'd love to hear someone try to prosecute him for that... Could be
quite humorous. (Of course, I wouldn't put it past a M$ EULA to have a
clause like that in it...)
