As a non-practicing 'rat catcher', who still believes BTW, I did smile
at the quote from a Catholic source. Would have been more honest
reflecting on the church's history and saying they were the first ones
who opened an open-air McDonald's franchise.
Still their thoughts back then were in keeping with the overall
brutality. Hopefully we *all* have moved on. Or have we. Guantanamo ?
I might add yours was the first reference ever I had seen about the
sect. Your comment above - during Tudor times was relevant whether or
not it was Edward, Mary or Elizabeth sitting on the throne. As an
atheist do you just wander through the Net looking for the dirt on
Christianity :-)
