Correct. As a replacement for 'Internet Connection Sharing' for other
computers they allow the existing large machine to shut down because it
is no longer the proxy.

As the old machines will run headless there is no need to bother with
any screen saver, though they do actually blank the screen if they have
one. Freesco without a Hard drive doesn't need standby mode for that
either.
