What are the usual arguments and tradeoffs for using an 88 vs. a 77?
88 levels are easy to read.
But 88 levels make it harder to find where a field is referenced.
Why would ANY field be hard to find with a modern editor... or even SPF?
I don't understand this at all.
Because there can be multiple names for the same field - which can
happen with a redefines as well.
Searching through my source-library for all programs that updates a
field from a copy member, I have to look for every possible way to
update that field.
