Hi All,
Thanks a lot for your suggestions and help.
The Mike Murach books will prepare you for a zSeries machine, but whether or
not it will take "a few weeks" is up to you and how fast you can learn. Are
they giving you access to a machine and a compiler so you can learn by doing
instead of just reading?
They expect me to practice on a Windows platform and getting a compiler
from somewhere. Machine access will be given after I can convince them
that I can do the task.
Do they expect you to pay the two grand or so cost out-of-pocket, or do they expect you to steal a copy for them?
Donald
