Thanks for a good answer.
I suppose one solution is to write a postprocesser to db2dclgn
that qualifies the DAT and LEN fields and to break up the occurs clause in
the
indicator table into elementary items.
To wrap dclgn in a Rexx or Perl-script is fairly easy.
I just didn't want to invent another wheel if there already was one.
