Retrieve RBA of VSAM record - z/OS

Hello:
I am looking for a way to retrieve the RBA of an ESDS record after a READ
instruction. I already have an assembler sub-routine that returns the RBA,
but I'd like to find a way to get it with pure COBOL code, if possible.
The environment is z/OS and Enterprise COBOL V3.
