used interactive debuggers for CoBOL beyond trying them out.

That would be zero.

I would hate to do CICS programming without a debugger.

We don't have a batch debugger, unfortunately, instead relying on a lot of
DISPLAY statements. Yuck.

Debuggers are wonderful things.
