....and this is what we are doing for COBOL code coming from the Unisys
2200, implementing it WITHOUT LANGUAGE CHANGE to Unix.

This is a snippet from the the RFP that triggered this thread:
"the transitioned applications are expected to be redesigned and built
in PL/SQL and/or JAVA rather than COBOL"

PL/SQL because Oracle would have been the target database.
