MF COBOL Personal Edition: Differences with/without Visual Studio?

Do I understand right that the inclusion of "Visual Studio" is the
only difference between the two versions which can be ordereded from
this web page:
<http://www.microfocus.com/Resources/Communities/Academic/shop/index.asp>
Is that the Visual Studio by Microsoft? Well the FAQ at
<http://www.microfocus.com/Resources/Communities/Academic/FAQaboutACTION.asp>says so: Microsoft Visual Studio .net Standard Edition.
What about if I already have a Microsoft Visual Studio, e.g. with
Visual Basic -- does the MF COBOL Net Express Personal edition without
Visual Studio the same functionality as the one with Visual Studio? Or
does the 49-USD version with Visual Studio provide some special
interfaces to Microsoft's Visual Studio which are not included in the
free version?
Cheers,
L.W.
