I'm not sure where you're going with that; please clarify.
There are people who have similar fervor towards their
anti-gay-marriage politics as they do for their ant-abortion politics.
This indicates to outsiders that the issues are similar to them. But
Roman Catholic theology makes them very different sins, with abortion
being a mortal sin, and not victimless.
