The best way to get rid of ALL the crap is to install Ubuntu.
If I'm shopping for a Windows machine, I avoid machines that come with
Machine specific software. Especially if it has a "special" version
of Windows. Unless I had special needs, I want as generic as
possible - which means as compatible as possible.
