Remember the big saucer feet
on the lunar landers? That was for the dust.

But the landers continued to have saucer feet years after they knew
the dust wasn't there. Maybe big feet are useful when landing on
uneven soil. Landing in a hole doesn't work well.

Dust does accumulate
on Moon in the *precise* way as expected. However, not enough
dust. Moon not 4 billion years old. Duh!

If that were the case, we should be able to measure the amount of dust
and come up with a different age. But it isn't the case.
