What compiler/platform are you using?

What have you tried so far ? Acessing a database involves many steps
and your problem may be in any or all of them. You may be needing a
tutorial on how to install MySQL or a primer on writing embedded SQL,
or it may be simply that your admin hasn't granted access rights to
the user. Or it may be all of these.
What is it that works, and specifically what does not ?
