Hello,
I need to know how it is possible to connect some dimensions written
inside some Autocad DWG with Cobol Application to add some
calculations related with those drwaings as Cobol entries.
Thanks in advance to your help
This question seems to be more appropriate for an Autodesk
AutoCAD forum! However, I checked on the possibilities with
Autodesk AutoSketch Version 5 (1997) and found that it may
be possible to export data from drawings in three ways: a CSV
file, the Windows Clipboard, and OLE. Any of these may be
used by a Windows compatible COBOL implementation.
The Google search:
site:autodesk.com autocad +export +(csv OR ole)
shows 129 hits. This includes one which asks, "How do I export
text from Autocad, preferrably to a CSV or TXT file?"
.
