Nonsense! Human nature is universal.

are so many and so varied, and I have barely *seen* so few of them, let

consider myself to have sufficient experience to speak of human nature)
Very pertinent.
Given the diversity of people, it may be very wrong to generalize about
them.
Well... some things are more general than others. From what I've seen
people whose nutritional needs are more-than-met, who drink water that
does not contain certain contaminants or life-forms, whose lives contain a
modicum of physical activity, et and cetera... they tend to live longer
than folks I've seen who haven't.
Moderation in all things, perhaps... moderation included.
It seems an unfortunate fact that often the worst common denominator of
behaviour is seized upon and held up as an example of "Human Nature".
We should never lose sight of the fact that Human Beings are capable of good
and noble actions as well as bad ones.
That had to be pointed out a while back regarding a response to danger...
some folks run away, some run towards.
But then focusing on the negative is just "Human Nature"... right :-)?
Just as some folks are 'born saints' so some are 'born demons', as well.
