Terry is quite right
A couple of months ago I bought a 64mb RAM chip for an old machine
- it cost me about GPB 60
A few weeks later I bought 512mb for a later machine
- it cost GBP 50
About drawing the controls at runtime, there is a bit more to the
story
Once you have the 'forms.pas' unit in your project, that is about
300kb eaten immediately
It is possible to 'create' the graphics using pure Windows
- quite a nightmare
Also there is some 'lightweight' version of the VCL
- I've seen it mentioned here several times
