Hi Guys
I have written a program, works find on my system, most people
don't have any problem with it, but there are a few that do.
The problems they are having are, sometimes it will not configure
the BDE and they have to do it manually, this could be do to
with the install program, I am using Install Shield 3.03 that came
with Delphi 6.
It there a better install program I should use that can install and
configure the BDE, but I'm looking for one that easy to use with
a good user interface and cheep.
Now here's the one that has got me, in order to run the program
the user has to run the set-up. The set-up is just added information
to a paradox table, when the program runs it checks if the table
is empty and tell the user to run the set-up. When they open the
set-up form, they click on the edit button, this sets the fields read
only to false, and changes the colour from grey to white, then puts
the table in edit. The problems they are having is they can't add any
information to the fields.
Any ideas? this one has got me !!
Brian
