Junior Programmer
(Salary: $32,000 - $38,000 annually DOQ plus excellent benefits & bonus)

Join the team responsible for enhancing, deploying, supporting, and
maintaining California's best property tax analysis, mapping, and
information systems. We seek a full time, on-site, programmer to assist in
the expansion and modernization of reporting and auditing subsystems using
Borland's Delphi and Crystal Reports with a combination of dBase and
Microsoft SQL Server data. We will consider only highly talented
individuals with a history of exceptional professional and academic
achievement, demonstrable skill in financial systems, one or more high-level
programming languages, and database design/management.
Responsibilities include:
Replicate and expand the current reports subsystem using Delphi and Crystal
Reports.
Program various other subsystems and independent projects as assigned.
Provide both internal and client support including occasional on-site client
support.
Requirements of candidate:
Possess a professional and courteous demeanor.
Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server database design (preferred) or
Access/Excel/dbase database project design including VB for Applications.
Experience in Delphi 5 or greater (preferred) or another high-level
programming language.
Working knowledge of the following technologies will be considered
additional assets: Crystal Reports, Apollo Database components for Delphi,
ADO, RoboHelp, Installshield, HTML or XML.
Other:
Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics preferred.
