URGENTLY need FAST and standalone (no BDE) component that can handle DBF or any other database - without BDE!

I am really desperate because I simply can' tfind anything like this
and I really searched a lot :(

I need some databse engine*component/whatever that can handle approx
150 000 records from some "standalone" database (DBF or simmilar -
must not need installation) fast, and does not need BDE - by this I
mean really fast without delays of 4-5 seconds what produce
ClientDataset if I use, for example, saved CDS files.
I have data in DBF and some DBF component will be good - but I didn't
find any free and fast component - and I tried ton of them :( . Most
of them doesn't use indexes so they re uselles (even the fast one -
they open and read data in a matter of milliseconds but navigation
through data is slow like hell :( ). Those who use indexex are also
too slow (they opens database for 7 seconds on 800 MHZ Pentium !?!?!?)
...

Now, it does not need to be DBF component - if somebodxy knows some
component for any other standalone database or anything that can read
150 000 records and navigate through them smooth and without delay -
like, for example RichEdit do with large files: with loadfromfile it
loads text file with 150 000 records in a matter of second and
navigation through them is perfect ! But I can't use it as a table
browser :(
I've seen some applications in Delhi that does that way but I can't
find anything and I really desperatelly and urgnetl yned some help!
