Greetings!

I have a task, as follows: I am to write a program that is supposed to
monitor the work of network computers. It would gather information from
network computers and send it to the central computer for analysis. Such a
program can be found for example in internet cafes, used for checking the
time that the users use internet. My program would also have other
functions, ie. screenshots would be sent to the central computer, so the
amount of data sent via this system might be quite large. Considering all
the above I have two questions:

Firstly: I'd like to write the system in Delphi (7, proffesional). What
network- socket components would You advise me to use? Indy? ICS? Other?
Which ones should I rather avoid?

Secondly: What program architecture would be best for such use? Will the
standard client-server architecture (where the client sends his requests to
the server periodically) be fine, or would You suggest something else?

Thanks in advance for the help
