    Delphi 5 was the last version of Delphi to include SQL Links. Starting
    with
    Delphi 6, it's been deprecated. The drivers will never be updated.

    So, I'd say using SQL Links is like smoking. If you haven't already
    started,
    don't start now. If you're still using it, make a plan to switch to a
    different
    data access technology.
