ah the simple solution.
Just like Sony decided they had the prefect copy protection method for
CD's They added a bit of encoding on the very outer edge of the CD.
Beyond the normal used area.
They spend millions on development of this and guess what.
The breaking of this copy protect was so simply that it was broken in
weeks after it was released and in the most simple and easy means.
All it took was a sharpie or other good marker.
You see the drives had to see this before it knew it was a copy
protected CD.
They simply covered it with the sharpie and thus the drive could not
tell it was a copy protected CD.
Oops.
