HyperString - EFD Systems

Does anyone know what happened to EFD Systems? I wanted to try to
order the source code for their HyperString library, but the order
link is dead and they don't respond to emails. Their website is still
up, but it seems abandoned.

I'm trying to replace some of the HyperString functions with functions
from other libraries, but I still need something that will search
strings using wildcards like the 'HyperStr.ScanF' function. Anyone
know of a library that would have a string search function supporting
'?' and '*' wildcard searches?
.
