How to save the clipboard to a PNG file ?

Hello,

Is it possible with standard tools, like Borland Delphi 2006 (win32) to
save the clipboard to a PNG file ?

I gave it a quick try with Tbitmap. But it saves the file into an BMP
which results in huge megabyte files. (5 to 8 MB).

PNG would only need a few kilobytes.

Does anybody know any tricks ?

Failing so, does anybody know a small Tpng component on the net or so
