Hi all
prior to a HD crash I was using a freeware component renamer that popped up a dialog as soon as a new component was dropped on a form. I remember struggling to get it work with D3 (and succeeding!) but now can't find it. Anybody help please?

Thanks

John

To be honest, I can't see the point - Why not use the Property
Inspector?

The point is that a renamer will name the new component according to your preferences rather than Delphi's (eg btnFile instead of SpeedButton1) - just a time saver.
Anyway, try www.torry.net and search for Component Renamer. There's
on on there by White Ants. (Their website contains nothing now, so
you can't get it from there)

Might be the one you were looking for.

Thanks but unfortunately the only version of that I can find was written for 16 bit D1 and is a lot of work to rewrite - I was hoping for an easier solution!
