Writting data to the Registry and Vista



I want my program to write one data element to the Registry upon closing the
program. Is Vista likely to scream "bloody murder" when I try to do that? Or
can it be done quietly, without the knowledge of the user?

    ... I was about to scream at MS Office2007 also, but in the end after a dozen tricks it now looks exactly as Office2003. ... You need to explore and turn off stupidities that office2007 enables by default, you can hide that awful ribbon and use Office2003 shortcuts, and black background, and change Selected text color back to blue as it wa sin office2003, etc, etc, you can also by default save all docs in Word97-2003 format and avoid docx, etc. ... You can see me blasting Microsoft on another Newsgourps (VISTA), ...
