find myself more sympathetic to the effort at least.
Yes, I understand that some people believe that if you need to comment your code then it's mot clear enough. However we have 4 developers, and being able to quickly search documentation before deciding whether or not to write some code that may have already been written, or even to make sure your code will work with their code is much quicker than looking through many PAS files, in my opinion of course.
So I can't exactly say that I've done precisely this, but I've had to
transform XML to similar XML, and a judicious XSLT script is just the
thing for that.
It should be said that XSLT is not easy to learn, and definitely not
easy to maintain.
I know...! Which is why I was hoping for a tool that did it for me </lazy git>
