Hi,
Sorry for late reaction, i cannot read the news from my office..:-(( (
security policy !)
Thank you for the suggestions
I have a breakout box, cables etc, but what i would like to do is listening
on the port, without having to install extra com ports or loop cable...
The idea of jmverdi is OK, but then with virtual ports ? I could then read
from one port and transfer to another, keeping a record of the data...
I still think its possible without creating additional ports
Thanks to '-' for his ComPort suggestion and the link MS/SysInternals ...
I will have to dig in the API calls i am afraid..
Any more suggestions welcome
Best regards,
Eddy.

This is not true.
Why do people keep making this false claim?
PortMon
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896644.aspx
does exactly what the guy is looking to do.
