Hi Brian/Ignacio

I am sure Ignacio and yourself are right ... but its not working here. Using
127.0.0.1, when I click on the 'Test connection' button I get the error
message 'Test connection failed because of an error in initializing the
provider. Login failed for user xxxx'. Using <computername>\<sqlserver
instance name>, I don't get the error ... everything works fine

Calling Sqldmo.ListAvailableSQLServers, I have one server of name '' (zero
length). I must be doing something stupid but I don't know what. Any ideas?
